Back Open!

On the eve of our reopening last Saturday 4th July an amendment to the health protection coronavirus restrictions (number.2) (England) regulations 2020 was published. It prohibited us from opening our doors to clients for treatments.

In the light of the amendment Save Face and the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) submitted a request for further clarification from the Department of Health and policy directors at Trading Standards and Environmental Health. The case was argued at the highest levels that there is a clear distinction between medical aesthetics performed by registered clinicians, and aesthetics performed by beauty therapists.

The Department of Health has now confirmed that the revision is to provide further clarity and reach to the beauty sector only and does not apply to medical aesthetic‘s performed by regulated clinicians.

We can therefore open our doors to our wonderful clients once again.

At 415 Professional Aesthetics we operate our practices in accordance with the medical model and have clear guidelines and protocols that we adhere to. Everything from client selection, assessment, consultation content and documentation are documented on a medical legal document.

We have certified ourselves against the COVID-19 operation of protocol and reassure each client that we continue to adhere to the guidance of the Government, Public Health England our regulatory bodies NMC ( Nursing Midwifery Council) and the guidance issued to us by the BACN.

We would like to give a huge thanks to all of our clients for their patience and loyalty at this challenging time and can not wait to welcome you all back again this week .

Thank you once again – Sarah and Pauline
